Programs & Services We Offer Your Department
The Career Center works with your students (from entering freshmen to graduate students) as well as alumni, to prepare them for meaningful careers in the world of work.
Students can stop by The Career Center in NAC 1/116 to pick up materials; use the career library; sign up for workshops or information sessions; make appointments for counseling, internships, or our computer lab; or learn about our Professional Recruiting Programs.
When referring students, it is important to note that students should visit the Center in their freshman year, so that they can start to focus on careers as early as possible and develop a career plan that reflects their needs and goals.
Our Programs and Services available to your students include the following:
Customized Services for Your Department or Program
- Classroom Presentations: geared to Career Center services and programs, career planning, resume writing, interviewing techniques, career trends, job search etc.
- Special Workshops: designed specifically for faculty/staff needs in a variety of academic areas: Business, Communication, Science, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Education etc. on resumes, interviewing techniques, market trends, etc.
- Consulting Services: The Career Center staff is available to consult with you on planning events, workshops, developing programs to respond to student populations or staff training.
