What Is The Registration Process?
There is a clear sequence of steps that comprises the registration process. Graduating students and recent alumni are required to follow these steps to ensure successful participation in the Centers Professional Recruiting Programs.
The process consists of the following activities:
- Attending a PRP Orientation Workshop:
All prospective PRP participants are required to attend one of these sessions. Attendees receive a brief overview of PRP services, eligibility requirements, policies and procedures, going online instructions, as well as resume writing and interviewing tips. A Calendar of PRP Orientation Workshops is available on-line (Click here to view Calendar) and in The Career Center.
- Preparing the Resume for approval:
The resume is your first form of contact with prospective employers. It is therefore in your best interest to first have it reviewed by Career Center staff. Your resume will not be referred to any hiring organization unless it is reviewed and approved.
- Officially registering for participation in Professional Recruiting Programs:
Registration consists of online registration followed by in-person registration. You are not officially registered until both registration procedures are completed.
